We ask that you don’t accept any tests if you’re not ready to focus on the tasks and give your honest and constructive feedback.
Our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Tester Code of Conduct outline everything you need to know about any rules or restrictions that might apply to you as a Tester. Take some time to carefully review these agreements so that you understand what's expected of you.
We strongly encourage you to review the details of each policy carefully. If we determine that you’re in violation of this Agreement, we reserve the right to remove your account.
The Tester Code of Conduct outlines our expectations of panelists as they access and use the Platform. These standards exist to promote customer confidence in the feedback they receive and to help contributors succeed as valuable members of the IntelliZoom Panel.
The Code of Conduct applies to all actions across the IntelliZoom Platform including but not limited to account activity, interactions with customers and customer information, and behavior during test recordings.

Protecting Your Privacy While Testing
Your privacy is important to us. UserZoom doesn’t sell your personal information and only uses it for legitimate business reasons such as providing you with customer support or sending you rewards for completing a test. See our privacy policy to learn more.
Customers are required to get your consent before asking you to share sensitive personal information.
You can always accept, decline, or quit any test that becomes available to you, based on your comfort level. Declining or quitting a test that asks for personal information will not prevent you from being invited to other tests and will not impact your contributor score.
NOTE: Your videos are shared with our customers for their business use. Please do not reveal any information during a test that you do not want to share.
Is there information I should never share?
Although it is up to you what personal information you decide to share while testing, you should NEVER share prohibited personal information.
Prohibited Personal Information
- Credit card #
- Drivers License #
- Car Loan #
- Personal financial account numbers
- Passport number
- Account passwords
- Social Security number
- Specific genetic information (e.g., genetic test results)
- Biometric identifiers (e.g., fingerprints, voice prints, iris and retina scans)
- Health plan account or beneficiary numbers
What if a customer asks me to make a purchase?
You should NEVER make a purchase with your own information while testing. If the task instructions include fake financial information for your use, please complete the tasks that require personal information with these fake details. If you are asked to purchase something using your own information during a test, please report a problem.
For more information on how UserZoom uses your information, see our Privacy Policy. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
During a test can I provide fake personal details instead?
If the test did not include a requirement to provide valid personal information, or if you did not agree to provide valid personal information in your responses to the screener questions, then yes, you can provide fake personal information during a test.
Keep in mind this guideline applies only to the disclosure of personal information that is not prohibited. You should NEVER share prohibited personal information with a customer.
You can use a fake mailing address and a free email account (e.g. Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo) to use just for testing purposes. If you want to ensure that it’s valid, look up a mailing address for a city office in your area and use this address when testing.
What if I accidentally show my information with Chrome auto-fill?
If you accidentally display your personal information because the Chrome auto-fill feature is activated on your browser, you can quit the test and report a problem.
In the future, if you don’t want your autofill to show during your test, please turn it off before you begin.
You may also want to save a set of fake information to use on tests.
To prevent the viewer from seeing you type your passwords on a mobile device, disable keyboard pop-ups on your device.
